Safe, Clean & Professional Work

At Kaminova Interior Design, safety, care and professional workmanship are important parts of every project. Whether we are working inside your home, outside your property or on a custom carpentry, cabinet making or outdoor timber project, our goal is to complete the work carefully, responsibly and with respect for your space.

We take practical steps to keep the work area organised, reduce risks and protect your property throughout the project. From preparation to final clean-up, we focus on safe work practices, clear communication and clean results.

Safe Work Practices

We aim to maintain a clean, organised and controlled work environment on every project. Tools, materials and equipment are used responsibly and stored safely where possible.

When working on carpentry, joinery, cabinet making, painting, finishing, decks, pergolas or outdoor timber features, we use suitable tools, materials and methods for the type of work being completed.

Work areas are kept as tidy as reasonably possible to help reduce trip hazards, damage and unnecessary disruption.

Respect for Your Property

We understand that many projects take place inside homes, rental properties, active living areas or business spaces. That is why we take care to protect surrounding areas where needed, including floors, walls, furniture, cabinetry, doors, windows and existing finishes.

Depending on the project, this may include:

  • Drop sheets
  • Protective coverings
  • Masking tape
  • Plastic protection
  • Careful material handling
  • Floor protection
  • Dust control where possible
  • Organised tool and material placement

At the end of the job, we aim to leave the workspace clean, safe and ready to use.

Dust, Noise & Site Protection

Carpentry, cabinet making, painting and outdoor timber work can involve dust, noise, cutting, sanding, drilling, material handling and surface preparation.

We take practical steps to reduce disruption where possible. This may include protecting floors and furniture, keeping work areas organised, using suitable coverings and communicating clearly about the work process.

Some dust, noise or temporary disruption may still occur depending on the type and size of the project.

Licensed Trades and Regulated Work

Some work may require licensed or qualified trades, such as electrical, plumbing, gas, structural or other regulated services.

Kaminova Interior Design does not carry out regulated trade work unless it is performed by appropriately licensed professionals.

Where required, we can work alongside or coordinate with qualified trades to help ensure the project is completed safely and correctly.

Materials, Tools & Equipment

We use tools, materials and finishes suitable for the intended purpose of each project. This includes considering indoor or outdoor use, durability, weather exposure, surface preparation, everyday wear and the final appearance.

All tools and equipment are handled with care. We aim to follow practical safety procedures while working on site and use suitable methods for each task.

Working in Occupied Homes

When working in homes where clients, families, pets or other occupants are present, we aim to minimise disruption and keep active work areas separated where possible.

For safety, we ask clients to keep children, pets and personal belongings away from work areas while work is being carried out.

Access, parking, site conditions and any special requirements may be discussed before or during the project.

Communication During the Project

Clear communication helps keep every project safer and more organised. Before and during the work, we may discuss:

  • Site access
  • Parking
  • Working hours
  • Materials
  • Measurements
  • Surface preparation
  • Dust and noise
  • Protection requirements
  • Safety concerns
  • Project timing
  • Any areas that need special care

If we identify something that may affect safety, access, quality or the final result, we will raise it before continuing where appropriate.

Insurance & Responsibility

We take care when working on every property and aim to complete our work responsibly, safely and professionally.

Where required, project requirements, access conditions and site risks may be discussed before work begins to help ensure a smooth and safe process.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information where possible, including access details, existing site issues, known damage, hazards or restrictions that may affect the work.

Site Clean-Up

We aim to keep the site tidy during the project and complete a reasonable clean-up after the work is finished.

Waste, packaging, offcuts and unused materials are handled responsibly and removed or organised as agreed.

The level of clean-up may depend on the project type, materials used and the agreed scope of work.

Photos, Measurements & Project Information

To understand your project and provide helpful advice or quotes, we may ask for photos, measurements, plans or inspiration images.

Any information you provide is used to understand your enquiry and project requirements. Personal project photos will not be published without your permission.

For more information about how we handle personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Our Safety Goal

Our goal is simple: to deliver quality workmanship while keeping the work process safe, clean and respectful.

Every project is approached with care, attention to detail and a practical commitment to protecting both the people and the property involved.
